Martin developed a plan for a rural property in Kangaroo Valley NSW incorporating principles of Natural Sequence Farming. This landscape management approach developed by Peter Andrews OAM and Tarwyn Park Training sets out to engage landscape function to address erosion, build soil carbon and fertility and improve the landscapes ability to buffer drought, flooding and bushfire.
We implemented the plan encompassing creek bed control structures, ponds, contour banks, spillways and a small holding pond. These features all work together towards increasing biodiversity in the paddock improving livestock and landscape vitality.
